These evening shots were taken in Zonguldak in the Black Sea region. Zonguldak is a mining town with a harbour. The black Sea region is the less visited side of Turkey which is totally incomprehensible as it is such a beautiful part of the country. And I've seen only a tiny part of it. I watched the Turkish movie Sonbahar the other day (bought it on DVD) with scenery from the far north east of the Black Sea region which is also stunningly beautiful. Anyway, more shots of this region to follow soon. (Click on the photos to see them bigger)

Sunset in Istanbul
I'm back from a two week stay in Turkey. What a wonderful country. I spent one week near Zonguldak in the Black Sea area and a week in Istanbul. Met with Turkish friends I made through the internet and hopefully they are friends for life now. I will be posting more Türkiye photos - landscape and people shots - soon.
