Hi all.
Unfortunately, all the slideshow links to my Flickr pages have stopped working after Flickr changed to the new lay-out. I'm not going to fix them for the foreseeable future. I might change to a few photos from the set and link to the rest of the set. I'm very busy at the moment so it's not on my list of priorities.
What have I been up to over the last while? I did some event shoots for ilovelimerick.ie and I'm part of a cookbook project with 6 other photographers. The cookbook is in aid of the Cancer Services at University Hospital Limerick. There are 50 restaurants involved and it is going to be amazing. Once it is finished I will post up some photos and let you know how to buy it.

I saw these silage bales in the Glen of Aherlow. Pink silage bales for breast cancer awareness. Such a great initiative: http://www.cancer.ie/content/dairygold-co-op-has-joined-forces-irish-cancer-society-highly-innovative-new-initiative#sthash.E7mGhq5n.QXTW8UjW.dpbs

A photosession on the beach: Marie.
These photos were taken in July 2013.
Two volunteers at my day job
were interested in doing a photo shoot. Because of the nice weather, we decided
to do a shoot at the beach. Here are some of Marie’s photos.

One year adoption anniversary.
The
5th of June was the 1st adoption anniversary of Tina and
Charlie, our two cats. Charlie is the red-and-white tabby tomcat and Tina is the tortieshell female. We adopted them from the Limerick Animal Welfare Shelter. They were born feral but trapped and neutered and then fostered for a while before going to the shelter where we got them.
They
have us well trained by now. One of us gets up around 3.30 am to open the
window so they can get out. Then, often, one or two hours later one of them is
back for food so one of us gets up to feed them.
These
two are spoiled rotten but they deserve it. They are two great cats and we love
them to bits. Let’s hope we will share many more anniversaries together. You can read more about them and about felines in general on my Feline Rambles Blog.

Ireland, County Kerry, Dingle.
Click on the photos to see a bigger version.
Damn, I didn't put up any photos for quite a while. I do have a Facebook photography page that I spend time on. I'm also one of the photographers for ilovelimerick.com and you can find my event photography on the ilovelimerick.com webpage Not all the photographs on the page are mine but my name is always in my photographs, with a mono version of the ilovelimerick.com logo and there's normally a statement with the set as well, telling who the photographer is.
Anyway, these are some shots that I took during a boat trip off the Dingle coast. I hope you like them. I will try and update a bit more often. I'm going through some old black and white negatives at the moment and might post some of those shots in a while. :)

A day at the races (portrait shots of Danielle)
click on a photo to see the bigger version.
As a photographer for ilovelimerick.com, I shoot at all sorts of different events. This year was my second time at ladies day, the Limerick Races. I was there to shoot the fashion show. There was also a best dressed lady competition and Danielle made it to the final ten. The theme was "vintage". I thought she looked absolutely stunning and took some portrait shots. I like the sepia version of the second shot a lot but the colour ones are nice too.
The rest of the photos I took that afternoon can be seen on the ilovelimerick Facebook page and website and on my Digital Dolf Photography Facebook page.

Felines
I absolutely love cats. Our tomcat Cato unfortunately died on May the 22nd 2012. I still miss him every day. We did get two rescue cats in June: Tina and Charlie. Tina is a tortishell coloured female and Charlie a red tabby with white. Cats make great photo models. :)
The first photo is one of Cato. Sleep soft and roam free little buddy. See you again on the Rainbow Bridge. I also write a blog about cats. It's called Feline Rambles.

Mid West Bridal Exhibition 2012.
This was the first bridal exhibition I ever went to. I was there to take photos for ilovelimerick.com.
The models were from Celia Holman Lee's agency. I've worked with these girls before and they are absolutely brilliant. Ilovelimerick.com has a flickr page now so I copied the slideshow from the page. All the shots were taken by me. When you click on a photo it will bring you to the flickr page where you can see the photos bigger.

Zombie outbreak Limerick 2011
This is a slideshow of the photos I took during the zombie outbreak festival in Limerick city, Ireland, last month. It has a soundtrack too. :) I used the lower resolution photos for the slideshow and they will look a bit grainy in full screen setting.
The photos on their own can be seen on my photography facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/digitaldolfphotography (https means it's set for safe browsing. You can set it that way in your facebook settings. If the https doesn't work for you, just change it to http)

Update 25-09-2011. (no photos)
In July I finally launched my Facebook photo page: http://www.facebook.com/digitaldolfphotography
I started setting the page up in October 2010 but it had been dormant since then. Now it's up and running.
If you pay the page a visit, please click on the like button if you like what you see. :)
As a photographer I'm now officially a member of the ilovelimerick.com team and my photos for ilovelimerick.com can be seen on the dedicated facebook page as well as on my photography page. In time I will post some here on my blog too.
September has been hectic so far. Fashion shows, live gigs of rock bands, the Limerick Pride week: every event has it's own challenges as regards light and surroundings. I'm enjoying it though.

The ever changing Atlantic Ocean view.
This is the Atlantic Ocean seen from the cliffs of Moher, County Clare on 13-08-2011. It was a fairly dry day but rain showers were building up. You can see one shower over the ocean in the first photo. There's also a ship in the first photo. See if you can spot it. :) (click on the photo to see the bigger version)

Some photos and impressions from Sicily.
On June the 5th my girlfriend and myself went to Sicily on a two weeks' holiday for the first time.
The first ten days we travelled around by car (a tiny Fiat Panda) and the last 4 days we spent in Palermo with only one trip outside of the city to Cefalù.
Sicily is an island with stunningly beautiful scenery, great beaches, interesting and friendly cities and towns. The food is amazing but what makes Sicily really nice is the people. They are simply wonderful. We met lovely, friendly, chatty and hospitable people there. I hope that some of the people who have my card, will visit my blog and read this. Thank you for making our stay on your beautiful island even nicer. We will never forget the hospitality and friendliness that you have shown us.
The top photo is the view from the town of Enna, then two photos from Castellammare del Golfo and the bottom photo was taken in Erice.

Ivan St John and the Coronas in the recently covered milk market
The 30th of April 2011. This was the first ever concert in the recently covered milkmarket in Limerick City, organised by Dolans, Limerick.
I was there to take photos for ilovelimerick.com (The videos live on ilovelimerick.com and the photos on the ilovelimerick.com facebook page. Check it out)
Difficult lighting conditions but I got some good shots. :)
